Optimize traction with the Ascent’s All-Wheel Drive capabilities and available X-mode. With an amazing towing capacity of up to 5,000lbs with standard trailer stability assist, the Ascent beats out many in its class. A 2.4L Boxer Engine is turbocharged and gives the Ascent up to 260 horsepower. The standard high-torque Lineartronic® CVT (continuously variable transmission) features an 8-speed manual mode function and steering wheel paddle shifters to help the driver gain more control of the vehicle.
