How to Connect Your iPhone Using Apple CarPlay in Your Subaru | Starlink
Available on select cars, CarPlay is a smarter, safer way to use your iPhone in the car. CarPlay takes the things you want to do with your iPhone while driving and puts them right on your car's built-in display. You can get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, and listen to music, all in a way that allows you to stay focused on the road. Just connect your iPhone and go.
Connecting to Apple CarPlay is easy.
Simply Connect your iPhone to the Subaru Starlink via USB and Apple Car Play will automatically launch.
Once connected, an Apple CarPlay icon will appear on the Subaru Starlink display.
Press the Apple CarPlay icon to launch Apple CarPlay and access your iPhone.
If your car supports wireless CarPlay, press and hold the Voice Control button on your steering wheel to set up CarPlay.

Make sure that your car is in wireless or Bluetooth pairing mode. On your iPhone, go to Settings > General > CarPlay > Available Cars and select your car.
With Apple CarPlay you will be able to operate your phone using Siri. Simply hold the voice control button on the steering wheel and let Siri know what you need.
