How To Connect/Pair Your Phone With Subaru Starlink Using Bluetooth
Subaru StarLink offers drivers hands free connectivity through USB or Bluetooth. Connecting with Bluetooth is simple with Subaru StarLink and offers connectivity with most Smartphone Devices.
To connect your mobile device via Bluetooth follow these simple directions:
- Press the "Phone" button on your Subaru StarLink display
- If there are no phones already connected StarLink will ask "Would you like to add one now?"
- Press Yes
- Subaru StarLink will display the Bluetooth Device Name, Address, and Pin
- Navigate to your Bluetooth setting on your mobile device
- On your mobile device, select the Bluetooth device that corresponds with your Subaru StarLink
- Once you device is connected Subaru Starlink will display the message "Bluetooth pairing was successful"
Once you have successfully connected Subaru StarLink will request access to your phones contact list and messages. This data is not stored on Subaru StarLink. Subaru StarLink will read your text messages to you out loud when the vehicle is in motion. If the vehicle is traveling under 5 mph you will be given the option to display the text message and respond using custom quick messages.
