How much power does the Solterra generate?
Powering the Subaru Solterra is a pair of electric motors, one in the front and one in the rear. These two motors combine to deliver a total of 215 horsepower alongside 249 pound-feet of torque. That’s plenty of power to deliver an exciting experience each time you slide behind the wheel, which is only bolstered by its Dual-Function X-MODE and all-wheel drivetrain.
How far can the Solterra travel?
When it comes to all-electric range, the Solterra is capable of traveling up to 228 miles according to predictions by the Environmental Protection Agency with a full charge. This should accommodate plenty of daily driving as well as some longer trips, which can be extended by fast charging.
How long does it take to charge the Solterra?
Speaking of charging, exactly how long does it take to charge? Well, if you have a Level 2 charging station set up at home, you’ll be able to get back to a full charge from complete discharge in 11 hours of charging. Alternatively, if you plug it in while the low charge warning light is on, it should only take 9.5 hours.

There are three different trim levels in which the Subaru Solterra is available. The base trim, Solterra Premium, kicks off with a base MSRP of $44,995 before destination, delivery and any other fees or extra add-ons you choose. The Solterra Limited starts at $48,495 and Solterra Touring at $51,995.
Can I get a tax credit by purchasing a Solterra?
