You have two different engine options to choose from in the Crosstrek, with the standard powertrain being a 2.0L four-cylinder engine capable of generating 152 horsepower alongside 145 pound-feet of torque. Choosing the Sport or Limited trim level will instead give you a 2.5L BOXER engine that boosts power up to 182 hp and 178 lb-ft. of torque. Either engine is tethered to a Lineratronic CVT and all-wheel drive.

When it comes to space, you’ll still have 19.9 cubic feet of space to fill behind the rear seats, which is more than a standard trunk but not nearly as much as you likely needed when the kids still lived at home. For those trips where you do need even more space, like bringing home a new TV or all that gym equipment you’re going to put in their old rooms, you can drop the 60/40 split-folding rear seats to open up a total of 54.7 cu. ft.

Features & Tech
