The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness is a more Subaru-y Subaru

The 2.5-liter Inline-4 now has 30 more horsepower and 36 more lb-ft of torque, and the Crosstrek Wilderness adds a 4.11 final drive ratio, a transmission cooler, and a higher 9.3-inch ground clearance, which happens to be more clearance than the Ford Bronco Sport Badlands and the all-new 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser. The Wilderness also has suspension allowing higher degrees of approach, breakover, and departure angles of 20, 21.1, and 33 degrees. 

The starting MSRP of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness is just $31,995, and the EPA estimates that you can achieve up to 25 mpg city and 29 mpg highway, respectively. 

Customers asked for more towing capacity, too, and with the 2024 model, you can tow up to 3,500 lbs when properly loaded, compared to 1,500 lbs for the previous generation.
