What’s New for the 2023 Subaru Ascent?

When the Subaru Ascent first came out a few years back, it was a welcome addition to a large SUV segment that was full of cookie-cutter models. The Ascent impressed drivers back then with its bold appearance and luxurious style. It’s prepared to do exactly that once more.

The Subaru Ascent is back for 2023 with a starting MSRP of $33,895. This time around, Subaru has decided to make some key updates to the model to keep things fresh. First off is a redesigned exterior that gives a bolder appearance to both the front and rear quarters of the vehicle.

New Tech on the 2023 Ascent

Inside the Ascent, the SUV is equipped with all the latest technology, some of which is new for 2023. The vehicle now features the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology with a Wide-Angle Mono Camera and a new Surround View Camera that gives you a 360-degree overhead view of the vehicle. Parking, towing and more is now a breeze.

In addition, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard equipment. SUBARU STARLINK is also standard now, displayed on an 11.6-inch center touch screen.

New Ascent Onyx Edition Limited Trim Level

One of the biggest changes, however, is the new Onxy Edition Limited trim level. It comes at a starting MSRP of $46,295 and gets you those features we mentioned above.

The new trim level also features a distraction mitigation system that can help keep you focused on the road, second row outboard heated seats, second row sunshades and third row USB charging ports (six total in the vehicle). If you have multiple kids, we can’t recommend this trim level enough. It has all the features you need to keep everyone content and comfortable.
